June 21 - 24, 2018 in Cincinnati, Ohio
The FAA Board of Directors is pleased to announce that the 2018 Franciscan Alumni Association Reunion will take place June 21 - 24, 2018, in Cincinnati, Ohio, on the grounds of the former St. Francis Seminary. The Chapter co-coordinators for this event are Paul Landers (74) and Mark Kling (75).
This year is a special year for the Classes of 1958, 1968, and 1978 as they will be celebrating their 60th, 50th and 40th year reunion. Who was in the Class of 1958? Who was in the Class of 1968? Who was in the Class of 1978?
Please let us know if you will be attending by sending us an email. Don't forget to include your full name, the names of those who will be accompanying you, and your graduating year.
The itinerary will be similar to last year’s focusing on fraternity and humor, reflection and praise. All who have had a connection with the Franciscans of St. John the Baptist Province or Our Lady of Guadalupe Province – even if you only attended one of the schools for a short time – are invited to attend any of the events, along with your guests. We look forward to seeing a large group of alums from the Class of ’68, who will be celebrating their 50-year Reunion!
Please note: There is no charge for the event, although there will be a basket for contributions to cover the cost of food and beverages provided on Friday and Saturday evenings. Fees for lodging, activities, and dinners at restaurants are to be paid by individual participants.
Contact the 2018 Reunion Team for more information.
You can also read about the reunion in the Spring 2018 FAA News Letter.

Beverages and a casual dinner items will be available starting at 6:00 pm. Come downstairs to the party room and enjoy the camaraderie. You can order tasty appetizers, sandwiches, and dinners from the menu if you wish.

The St. Anthony Center just opened in December of 2017, in the renovated 40,000 square foot building the previously housed the St. Anthony Messenger offices. Working with St. Francis Seraph Ministries, the Franciscans engaged in a very unique partnership with local non-profit organizations. The new St. Anthony Center (SAC) is a “hub of services” all in one place to serve the poor. This center is a welcoming place where multiple not-for-profit organizations work together to serve basic needs of the impoverished and the homeless in one location. A local news video about the St. Anthony Center is available on YouTube. An article about the Center also appeared in the St. Anthony Messenger.
3:30 pm - Tour of the Franciscan Archives and Chapel at St. Anthony Shrine and Friary, 5000 Colerain, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45223.

Park by the building that is to the right of the Friary; the Archives office is around the back. Dinner will be in the meeting room in that same building (near the parking lot). After dinner there will be a slideshow of Fr. Ric's photos from the Seminary days.
