Bryan Reising '79
Bryan is Director of Religious Education and Adult Faith Formation for the Diocese of New Ulm. He's married to Linda and has 3 children. His son, Andrew, goes to Franciscan University of Steubenville and majoring in philosophy. He spent a year with NET Ministries giving retreats to middle school and high school students throughout the country. His daughter, Monica Clare plays the flute and piano, sings, and loves acting. His youngest, Maria makes her own clothing and loves to make chocolate. His wife Linda teaches their two daughters at home and is the director of family faith formation at the Church of Saint Mary in New Ulm. Bryan serves as representative for Region 8 (Minnesota and the Dakotas) for the National Conference of Catechetical Leaders (NCCL).
He is originally from Metamora, Illinois - the hometown of Fr. Valens Waldshmidt, OFM, Fr. Aubert Grieser, OFM, Dale Bursott, Duane Springer, Paul Springer, Paul Driscoll, Mark Nauman, Kevin Nauman, and John Breitbarth (and maybe some others?). He is also the cousin of Wayne Reising, originally from Metamora and grew up in Washington, IL and Rochelle, IL, and related by marriage to John Beltramea, Wayne's maternal uncle, originally of Washburn, IL.
