Steve Findley '67
Steve attended St. Francis from 1963 to 1967 and Duns Scotus until 1968. After a 2 year hitch in the Marine Corps, he married in 1971. Steve attended Xavier University in Cincinnati, East Carolina University in North Carolina, graduated with a BA from the University of Cincinnati in 1974, and a law degree from Chase Law School in 1980.
About his education received at the seminary, Steve comments: "The classes were small enough to develop great student-teacher rapport, something that is lacking in all the colleges I've attended." While at St. Francis, Steve enjoyed tennis, baseball, and football. He was also the editor of the Brown and White.
Steve is currently a practicing attorney in Dayton, specializing in civil trials. He and his wife Doris live in Kettering with their youngest child John, a high school sophomore. His oldest daughter Casey teaches 6th grade in a parochial school in Dayton. His middle daughter Erin is a senior at Xavier University majoring in social work.
