FRANCISCAN ALUMNI REUNION 2007

Five years ago, in 2002, the St. Francis Seminary Class of 1952 celebrated its 50th anniversary….and the Class of 1972 celebrated its 30th anniversary of the FAA Reunion in the Southwest. Both classes had fantastic turnouts as some old friends had not seen each other in all those 30 and in some cases 50 years. To say the least, the reunion was a highlight of many of our lives bringing to mind the depth of our brotherly love and the embedded Franciscan spirituality that makes us the men, women and families who we have become.

Provincial Minister Larry Dunham OFM, Our Lady of Guadalupe Province, once again most kindly invited the FAA to celebrate our brotherhood in St. Francis, to return to the Land of Enchanting sunsets, jagged peaks, and the fresh aroma of the Juniper tree.

The 2007 Reunion took place June 21st - 24th in Albuquerque, New Mexico, a city dating back to the 18th century and along the Rio GrandeValley where in the 17th century, the first Franciscans entered what we now call the United States of America.

The reunion weekend was a wonderful, blessed event enjoyed by all who attended.
